About us
At Shepherd and Bengal, we’re driven by a huge passion for dogs. We know how important your dog is to you, and we believe they deserve to be treated as one of the family.
Founded by Amy McAlpine, who has grown up surrounded by dogs all her life, Shepherd and Bengal has grown from a lifelong passion into a loving career spanning over a decade. Along the way, we’ve built an incredible team of dedicated, experienced and compassionate people who share the same devotion to dogs and the highest standards of care.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of caring for dogs of all ages, shapes, sizes and personalities. From energetic youngsters to older dogs who prefer a slower pace, we welcome them all — and we understand that every dog is different. Our experienced team is comfortable caring for a wide range of behaviours and individual needs, ensuring every dog receives the patience, understanding and attention they deserve.

We offer dog daycare, boarding and dog walking, giving your dog plenty of love, attention, exercise and, of course, lots of fun along the way.
With access to our 3-acre private, secure field, your dog can enjoy safe, off-lead time to run, explore and play. We’re also surrounded by beautiful countryside, with plentiful walks right on our doorstep for even more adventure.
Our aim is simple: to provide a safe, relaxed and happy environment where every dog feels at home, cared for and part of the family.
Group walks via our private field or open local countryside. We always start with a free meet-and-greet to get to know your dog.
A full day of company, adventures, play and rest with like minded pooches while you’re at work.
Overnight stays in a home-from-home environment, filled with love, attention, care and exercise.
